About Bali Bintang Cycling Tour
“Everyday is a new beginning, take a deep breath and START again”
Cruising downhill, you can watch the passing parade of rural life, chance upon a special temple ceremony, stop at a village warung to chat with the children, or watch local Balinese wood carvers at work. Along the way, we stop to visit a traditional Balinese family local compound, a privileged look amidst its daily routine.
Your day of adventure concludes at the village of Pejeng, where the village life is timeless and serene, watching the women go about their daily task of making beautiful offerings to the Hindu gods, followed by a sumptuous Indonesian Lunch in a delightful garden setting, lovingly prepared in an open kitchen amidst a modern Balinese family environment .

“What They Said about Bali Bintang Cycling Tour?”
““We saw the real Bali””
We did the biking tour today and it was fantastic. The staff was great and very helpful. We saw the real Bali. The tour is certainly value for money and includes a lovely breakfast and lunch. The visit to the coffee growers was interesting and very hospitable without being pushy. Thanks for a great day. We would recommend this trip to everyone.Karin & Gary | Australia
““Great day of cycling”
Picked up from our accommodation on time. Drove to Mt Kintamani stopping at a coffee plantation on way for a tasting. Arrived at start for a light snack and coffee then off we rode. Our guide Trends was great pointing out all interesting sights, stopped at local Balinese family compound for a view of how people live. He took us off the main roads where other groups seemed to stay and showed us the real life. After about 3 hours we arrived at the tour companies restaurant for a very good lunch then back in the car for return to our accommodation. A great day. My only criticism was bikes could be maintained better.Martyn R | TripAdvisor member
Joined this downhill cycling tour after searching online for reviews. Was a little unsure whether I had the fitness, but all fears allayed after first 5 minutes of ride – just balance and brake and “enjoy the ride”. Our particular tour guide could perhaps have volunteered a little more information along the way, as I had not been to Bali before, but was happy to answer any questions we had.
Pick up and return to hotel made joining the tour very simple.
Helmets were supplied and bicycles in fairly good nick, although my front brakes a bit ‘jumpy’. Was offered a different bike but all was good. Roads a little rough in places, but mostly sealed and mostly very quiet. Felt very safe. A couple of spots with uphill riding (I had to get off the bike and walk, but only short distance).
Morning tour meant starting with a light brunch of Papaya and banana fritters – lovely, with view of Lake Batur and enjoying an Indonesian lunch after the ride down – light and tasty 3 course meal!
Thoroughly enjoyable morning and would recommend to anyone who can balance on a bike. Much cooler up in the mountain areas so was a welcome break to the heat in Legian. Scenery amazing.
Cycling gloves would have been helpful to make the handlebars more comfortable.Karen G | Melbourne, Australia
