“What They Said about Pelangi Bali Mountain Cycling?”
““Adventure in the rain””
We’ve just returned from an amazing morning with our guide Agus biking through the villages of Kintamani.
Agus was so informative, jovial, helpful and generally just a bloody nice guy. We (myself, my brother, my Dad and Auntie) all thoroughly enjoyed our adventure in the rain!
Most of the experience you are leisurely gliding down the roads through villages, only a few times did we have to hop off our bikes and push them up the steeper rises! Our adventure finished with a yummy three course lunch – amazing!
Thank you Agus, our driver Komang and Pelangi Mountain Cycling for a memorable experience while in Ubud.Lauren H, TripAdvisor member | from Hamilton, New Zealand
““Highlight of our Holiday”
We had a wonderful day of cycling. We were picked up from our resort. We stopped for coffee tasting which was a surprise but a pleasant one. They were not pushy about buying anything. Breakfast was more like a morning tea at Kintamani overlooking the amazing view. (We had a big breakfast before leaving our resort, so this was fine). The cycling was mostly downhill and thoroughly enjoyable. We felt very safe on the roads as they were quiet country lanes. We were given cold bottled water along the way. Finishing off with lunch at their headquarters overlooking some fields. We would do this again next time and would recommend this company to others.Kathy B, TripAdvisor member | from Gippsland, Australia
““Definitely a “must do”””
We were picked up and returned to our resort. Taken to Kintimani for breakfast overlooking the volcano. It was more a light snack (3 pieces of papaya, 3 pces battered banana, cup tea / coffee) so if your staying further afield than Ubud – have some breakfast at your hotel / resort to tide you over til then. We were expecting “breakfast”. We had Wayan as a guide and he was awesome. Took total care of the group, especially when coming into villages with a bit of traffic. Stopped to explain and show things, have breaks. All down hill except for start and hill at the end. Brilliant for all capabilities as long as you can ride a bike. I don’t do gears very well and I was “resort grounded” for a couple of days due to back spasms prior to this so don’t let anything put you off. This is a fun activity. Back up car following which I thought for sure I would be using but managed just fine! Lunch at Ubud at the end, 35kms went really really quick. Highly recommend this company and guide.Lisa S, TripAdvisor member | from Australia
